Deputy Prosecutor-General of Ukraine is the Director General for Procedure control over criminal investigators in the central office and supervision over observance of laws in the military sphere.

Anatoliy Matios was born on February 13th, 1969, in the village of Roztoky, Putylsky district of Chernivtsi region.

After graduating Roztoky upper secondary school in 1984, he entered the Chernivtsi Musical College.

In 1988 – 1990 he did his military service in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

In 1997 he graduated from Chernivtsi State University named after I.Fedkovich.

In 1997 he started working in the Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant of the Chernivtsi city attorney.

1998 – 1999 – worked as a senior investigator of the Chernivtsi public prosecutor’s office.

1999 – 2000 – worked as a senior investigator of the public prosecutor’s office of Chernivtsi region.

2000 – 2001 – worked as a senior prosecutor in the department responsible for supervision over the observance of laws by the law enforcement agencies and the tax police while implementation of the operational-investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial in the administration for supervision over the legality of the investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial investigation of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office

2001 – worked as a senior prosecutor of the personnel administration department in Prosecutor’s Office of the Kherson region

2001 – held a position of Deputy Head of the department of supervision over observance of laws by special units for combating organised crime of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office;

2001 – held the position of an assistant head of the department for supervision over the obeyance of laws by special units and government agencies that fight organized crime and corruption in the administration for supervision over the legality of the investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial investigation of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office;

2001 – worked as a the public prosecutor of Vysokopolskoye district, Kherson region;

2001 – 2004 – held the position of the head of the department for supervision over obeyance of laws by special units and other government agencies that combat organized crime and corruption in the administration for supervision over the legality of the investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial investigation of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office;

2004 – held the position of the head of the department for supervision over obeyance of laws by special units that combat organized crime in the administration for supervision over obeyance of laws by authorities that carry out investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial investigation of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office;

2004 – held the position of an assistant head of the department for supervision over the obeyance of laws by law inforcement authorities while conducting investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial investigation in the administration for supervision over the legality of the investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial investigation of the Kiev prosecutor’s office.

2005 – 2008 – held the position of the head of the department for supervision over obeyance of laws by the bodies of the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Customs Service and State Border Guard while carrying out investigative activity, inquiry and pre-trial investigation of the Kiev prosecutor’s office;

2008 – Head of the directorate of Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region;

2008 – 2009 – Head of the directorate of Security Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region;

2009 – 2010 – was a vice-chief of the general directorate of K dept. of Security Service of Ukraine in Kiev;

2010-2011 – was sent from Security Service of Ukraine to the position of an Advisor to the Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine;

2011 – 2014 – was sent from Security Service of Ukraine to the position of Government Accountability Office the Deputy of the Chief of the Main Control Directorate of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine;

2014 – worked under direction of the Head of Security Service of Ukraine;

On June 26, 2014 Matios Anatoly was appointed as Deputy Prosecutor-General of Ukraine, the Director General for Procedure control over criminal investigators in the central office and supervision over observance of laws in the military sphere and was approved by a panel member of the General Prosecutor’s Office.

Divorced. Has two children.

In 2005 he was awarded a badge “Thanks for the faithful service in the Prosecutor’s Office” of III degree.
