Ukraine’s General Prosecutor Vitaliy Yarema appointed Anatoliy Matios his deputy – military prosecutor. He mentions, before Matios was working with prosecutions’ problems in maintenance the process of law control. He also informed Yuriy Viytev was appointed the Central region’s military prosecutor, Pavel Bogutsky was appointed Eastern region’s military prosecutor, and Nikolay Lysyj was appointed Western region’s military prosecutor.

A coordination meeting of heads of military law enforcement agencies in Southern Ukraine devoted to cooperation in joint activities aimed against criminal offenses among soldiers, including those committed during the counter-terrorist operation. The meeting was attended by prosecutors from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lugansk regions, by heads of prosecutors’ offices responsible for supervision over observance of laws in the military sector of the Southern region, and by heads of the military authorities.

The Security Service of Ukraine intercepted telephone conversations — I. Bezler (aka ‘Bes’) reports to his coordinator, the Russian GRU colonel V. Geranin on a civil airplane recently shot down by militants.

PGO examines how military commissariats hold mobilization
The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) of Ukraine organized examinations of military commissariats’ activities on holding the military conscription and partial mobilization.
Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios told a briefing at Ukrinform.
“The relevant examination is a response of prosecutor bodies for numerous facts of violation of the law by officials of military commissariats,” he said.
